Doubling the First Home Owner Grant in Regional Victoria

The Premier of Victoria, Daniel Andrews said today that his government would be doubling the first home owner grant from $10,000 to $20,000 for new homes valued up to $750,000 built in regional Victoria.

The increased grant will apply to eligible buyers on contracts signed from 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2020.

The first home owner grant for new homes in metropolitan Melbourne still remains at $10,000.
